2. Use of This Website

3. Course Bookings

All course bookings are subject to availability and require confirmation from WSL Training Academy. A booking is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from us. We reserve the right to:

• Reschedule or cancel courses where necessary, with appropriate notice provided
• Refuse or cancel a booking where the participant does not meet the course prerequisites
• Limit course numbers to ensure quality of training

In the event of cancellation by WSL Training Academy, a full refund will be provided.

4. Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, the following refund policy applies:

• More than 14 days before the course date: full refund
• 7–14 days before the course date: 50% refund
• Fewer than 7 days before the course date: no refund

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. We may, at our discretion, offer a transfer to an alternative course date in lieu of a refund.

5. Course Prerequisites and Eligibility

Participants are responsible for ensuring they meet the entry requirements for each course prior to booking. Requirements vary by course and accreditation scheme (NPORS or CPCS) and may include:

• Minimum age (usually 18 years)
• Physical fitness appropriate to operate plant machinery
• Sufficient command of English to understand safety instructions
• Any prior experience or qualifications specified in the course details

WSL Training Academy reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone who does not meet the published requirements or who presents a safety risk on the day.

6. Health and Safety

All participants must comply with WSL Training Academy’s health and safety rules at all times on site. Participants found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be removed from the course without refund. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn as instructed.

7. Certification

Certificates are issued by NPORS or CPCS upon successful completion of assessments. WSL Training Academy acts as an accredited training provider and is not responsible for decisions made by the awarding bodies regarding certification. Re-sit fees may apply where applicable.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, course materials, and branding — is the intellectual property of WSL Training Academy or its licensors and is protected by UK copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WSL Training Academy shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from use of this website
• Loss of data, revenue, or business arising from course cancellations beyond our reasonable control
• Third-party websites linked from our site (we are not responsible for their content or practices)

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.
